A MAN who is accused of stealing drink from two convenience stores is to face trial by judge and jury.
Janusz Wesolowski is said to have taken four cans of cider and two bottles of rose wine from Jones Day and Night in Westfield Road, Trowbridge, on January 27.
The 52-year-old is also said to have stolen two Frosty Jack ciders from McColl's on February 29.
Speaking through a Polish interpreter, he told Swindon Crown Court on Monday that he did know either of the shops.
Judge Tim Mousley QC adjourned the case to January 4 and released Wesolowski, of Ashton Street, Trowbridge, on bail.
