STAFF at a Trowbridge recruitment agency put pedal to the mettle last Friday when they took on a 60-mile charity bike ride.

A 24-strong team of employees from Juice Recruitment, which has an office in Fore Street, clocked up the miles cycling between their Cheltenham, Bristol, Bath and Trowbridge offices, raising over £3,000 in the process.

The proceeds from the event, organised by Managing Director Emma Summers and her husband Andrew, will go to the Prince's Trust which which helps people aged 13-30 find opportunities in work, education or training.

"Juice is so proud to be supporting the Prince's Trust and Juice's teams cycled over 70 miles between our Cheltenham, Bristol, Bath and Trowbridge offices to raise funds for this wonderfully worthwhile cause," said Mrs Summers.

"We are delighted that a dear friend to Juice Recruitment, former England rugby player Jeremy Guscott was on hand to present the cheque to the Prince's Trust. A fantastic event and here's to more charity fundraising events next year."
