THE 78-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and actual bodily harm following the death of a woman in Trowbridge has been re-bailed until February next year.
Officers were called to the house in Shearman Street on September 8 after 38-year-old Helen Barker was found dead.
The elderly man who was arrested was known to the woman who lived alone and did not have children.
Police confirmed that they were carrying out house to house inquiries after the incident and the man’s bail conditions ended on Monday (November 28).
But he has now been re-bailed until next year as the investigation continues.
