THE A361 through Southwick, outside Trowbridge, has just been reopened by Wiltshire Police following a single car crash.
Emergency services, including the ambulance and fire service, dealt the incident, which happened when a car left the road and collided with a tree, trapping the woman driver. The driver of the Seat Alhambra was cut free by fire crews and was taken to hospital via ambulance with suspected chest and back injuries.
The road has now been reopened after three hours.
