A GROUP of morris men found an excellent way of losing excess pounds on Boxing Day... with staging dances around the village of Holt
It's tradition for Holt Morris men to stage dances starting at the top of the Parks ,the Firlawns retirement home, the village shop Holt Superstore, the village green and finishing at the Tollgate Inn.
Squire Jonathan Nibbs said: "It's something we have done for many many years and has become a Holt Tradition. We usually start at 10am taking in four or five dances.
"It's good fun and we usually finish at the local pub and get a well deserved pint.”
Holt not only have an all-male dance side but are also complemented by a female side from the village Belles Angels
