PLANS for 82 new homes in Trowbridge will be on show next Wednesday (January 25).

The plans for the estate on the former site of the West Wiltshire District Council offices, just off Bradley Road, can be seen at Holbrook Primary School between 5pm and 8pm and representatives from Newland Homes will be on hand to answer questions.

The site has been disused and surrounded by hoardings since the demolition of the offices in 2012.

Tom Sheppard, associate design director for Newland Homes, said: “Newland Homes has a track record of redeveloping areas of Trowbridge and providing well-designed family homes for modern living.

“Last year we completed our 16-home Holbrook Gardens site and our redevelopment of the former Ushers brewery site was awarded the Trowbridge town enhancement award in 2014.

“This will be our fifth development in Trowbridge and with the help of feedback from local residents, we hope to bring the right collection of homes that the town wants and needs.”
