A LEGENDARY dance group is gearing up for a special Red Nose Day Performance.

Pan’s People, who rose to fame by appearing on Top Of The Pops in the late 1960s, will be performing at Tesco in County Way, Trowbridge, on Friday, March 24.

Group leader Dee Dee Wilde wants to see as many shoppers as possible join in with the fun.

She said: “Myself and many of the girls who attend my dance classes shop at this store on a regular basis, so I thought why not shop and dance, show the people in Trowbridge an entertaining way to keep fit and help raise money for a good cause into the bargain.”

Mrs Wilde teaches versions of the Top Of The Pops routines she performed in the 70s to pupils of all ages and her motto is ‘It’s Never Too Late To Dance’.
