A HOUSE in Trowbridge was burgled and a car was stolen from the driveway in the early hours of this morning.
After being taken from a driveway in Lynwood Drive at around 3.50am, the Volkswagen Golf was later spotted by police officers on patrol in the Lacock area.
After a short pursuit, the officers arrested a 16-year-old girl and 17-year-old boy on suspicion of burglary.
The incident comes after a spate of burglaries in Trowbridge with five cars being stolen from driveways since January.
