A man has been arrested in Trowbridge on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply after officers caught him throwing a package out of a window.
A 29-year-old man was arrested in Union Street, Trowbridge, just before 8pm on Tuesday (April 11) morning when officers were attending an address to arrest a man in relation to a separate incident. When officers knocked on the door a package was thrown from the window, believed to be containing class A drugs.
The man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, false imprisonment, criminal damage and common assault. He is currently in custody in Melksham.
