A WARNING has been sent out by police after a youth was seen throwing eggs at cars in Trowbridge.
At around 6pm last Saturday (April 22), the youth was seen on the footbridge near Tesco Express in County Way throwing eggs at cars below.
One car was damaged after being hit on the roof and police are now appealing for information.
PCSO Laura Humphreys said: “We’d really like to speak to the person who was driving this vehicle, as well as members of the public who were walking over the bridge towards the town park – you may have information which could help us identify the youth responsible.
“I’d also like to urge parents to speak to their children about the dangers of throwing items at moving vehicles – not only can this be distracting to many drivers, it can also cause damage to vehicles as well as injuries.”
Anyone with information should call police on 101.
