The nine-year-old cyclist from Trowbridge who was seriously injured in a collision last week is being treated for major head injuries.
After the collision with a yellow Nissan Duke on Hammond Way at 6.16pm last Wednesday, an air ambulance was called to airlift the child to Bristol Children's Hospital where he is now recovering.
The young boy has sustained a fractured skull and bruising to the brain as well as to the legs, but is making a steady recovery.
Police now want to trace witnesses to the collision, any children who were in the vicinity, or drivers with a dashcam in their vehicle driving through Hammond Way at the time of the incident.
Anyone with information should call 101 and ask for PC Alan King or PC Jay Clifton, or phone Crimestoppers on 0800555111.
