TROWBRIDGE will join places across the country by hosting a variety of free events as part of the 2017 heritage open days on Saturday until Tuesday.

At the Trowbridge museum, a temporary exhibition, from September 10-12, is on display and involves traditional and contemporary textile crafts from 10am-4pm.

The Bridge House, in Stallard Street, have an open gallery with an exhibition of drawings between 10am-4pm on September 9, including a drop-in drawing session from 10am. There will also be behind the scenes guides tours, which last 40 minutes, of the building.

On September 9 from midday to 2pm, Town Hall Arts are putting on two different exhibitions, the Museum Box Project and Library of Pilgrimages, by Space Place Practice, a collective group of multidisciplinary practitioners who share an interest in researching the wider aspects of landscape.

The Blind House, in Wicker Hill, Holy Trinity Church, in Stallard Street, St Thomas Church, in St Thomas Road and St James' Church, in Church Street, are also hosting events on Saturday 9 from 10am-4pm.

This is the second collaborative event between Town Hall Arts, Drawing Projects UK and Trowbridge Museum to showcase the amazing and growing cultural offer in Trowbridge.
