A TROWBRIDGE man will part company with all of his long locks on Sunday to raise as much as he can for Children with Cancer UK.
Ben Cartwright, Pitman Avenue, is having his hair shaved off at the White Swan in Church Street, watched by friends and family.
In the space of a few weeks since he set up his just giving page, he has already raised more than £1,200 towards the cause.
The 25-year-old will also be doing a 24-hour gaming stream as when his cousin Jak Attfield, 14, was undergoing chemotherapy from 2008-10, the pair would play on the Xbox 360 together when he was in hospital.
Jak, who moved to Australia from Trowbridge in 2011, was given the all clear in 2010 and he will be joining in the gaming stream from Down Under.
