CUSTOMERS who enjoy eating out at Prezzo in Trowbridge can continue to do so after the chain announced it won’t close the one in the town.
The Italian restaurant chain is closing 94 restaurants, including all 33 outlets of its Chimichanga eateries, as it tries to rescue its business.
However the Trowbridge one is safe.
Prezzo is owned by private equity firm TPG Capital. The chain employs more than 4,500 people. This has left the firm with 208 sites.
Prezzo has entered a restructuring arrangement know as a company voluntary arrangement (CVA) - a step short of going into administration.
