The A361 is closed while emergency services deal with the incident
A WOMAN suffered neck injuries today in a three-vehicle smash which closed the A361 Frome Road between Southwick and Rode for two hours.
Avon & Somerset Police said the accident happened at 4.10pm near the Cross Keys Inn junction between Rode Hill and Wesley Lane.
An ambulance was called to the High Street in Rode following the collision, which closed the Trowbridge to Frome road until 6.15pm.
A spokeswoman for South Western Ambulance Trust said a female patient was treated for suspected neck injuries.
The collision caused congestion on the A361 to the A36 at the Beckington roundabout.
This is the third crash on this section of road this week. There were two accidents on Wednesday and Thursday.
