6:50pm Wednesday 26th July 2006 in Trowbridge By Morwenna Blake
A 16-year-old boy from Melksham suffered a fractured leg when his moped crashed into the back of a skip lorry at 12.06pm on Tuesday.
The boy was riding his moped with another friend along the A361 from Semington to Hilperton behind the skip lorry. The boy crashed into the back of the lorry after it slowed down to turn into a lay-by and suffered a nasty fracture to his left leg in the accident.
He was taken to Bath's Royal United Hospital by ambulance and the boy's friend was uninjured. Police attended the accident and closed the road for two hours until 2.02pm.
