11:55am Tuesday 29th August 2006 in Trowbridge By Craig Evry
RECYCLING bins for green waste and kerbside collections will be rolled out to villages around Trowbridge later this month.
It will mark the final stage of the programme, launched by West Wiltshire District Council two years ago.
Homes in Bulkington, Keevil, Great Hinton, Wingfield and parts of Semington will have green bins and black kerbside collection boxes delivered in time for the alternate collections.
Recyclable household rubbish will be collected one week, with any other household waste collected the following week.
The district council is working with Wiltshire County Council, Cleanaway and Hills Recycling on the project.
The twin bin scheme was launched in Melksham and Trowbridge in 2004, Warminster in November 2005, Westbury at the start of this year and Bradford on Avon in May.
