Lorry and van crash at Chitterne

A lorry crashed into a Transit van at Chitterne this morning (Weds) scattering debris across the road.
Police were called to the crash on the B390 at 8am where a lorry which was believed to be attempting to overtake a bike had struck the van.
No-one was hurt in the incident but a large amount of debris was left in the carriageway.
Police officers directed traffic and requested a recovery vehicle for the Transit van which was badly damaged.
A team from Wiltshire Council is on the scene to clear away the debris.
