7:00pm Friday 16th August 2013 in Warminster
A soldier stationed at Battlesbury Barracks, War-minster, has lost his driving licence after failing a roadside breath test.
Thomas Laird, 20, had a breath-alcohol reading of 59 when police stopped him on Fairfield Road on July 19. The legal limit is 35.
North Wilts magistrates banned Laird from driving for 12 months when he appeared in court last Thurs-day. He was fined £250, and must pay a £25 victim surcharge and court costs of £85.
