Former soldier fined for urinating and abuse at Westbury rail station
A Warminster man pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in public when he appeared at South East Wiltshire Magistrates’ Court in Salisbury on Friday.
Lee, 38, of Boreham Road, was fined £90 for urinating on a platform at Westbury Train Station on April 23, this year.
The former soldier was also abusive to members of the public at the station.
Lee said: “I would like to apologise, it was St George’s Day, I used to be in the army and I’d lost a lot of friends in battle, so I had been out commemorating them.
“But something like this will certainly not happen again.”
Lee was ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 in legal fees as well as his fine.
