A 20-year-old accused of stealing a £400 pushbike is to face trial by judge and jury.

Danny Hitt is said to have taken the valuable bicycle from Warminster train station on Friday, August 23.

No charge was put to the defendant, of Clearwood View, Chapmanslade, and he did not enter a plea during the brief hearing at Swindon Crown Court on Friday.

The case was adjourned to Friday, February 21 and Hitt released on unconditional bail until then.
