THE Old Town Hall in Warminster will be buzzing with life again tomorrow when a new independent Artisan market called Town Treasures launches for the first time.

Organised by local residents Sarah-Jayne Wright and Stacey Henry, the market will take place from 9.30am-4.30pm and will feature stalls selling arts, crafts, jewellery, clothing, greeting cards, toys and interior items.

Traders already on board include Ali’s Pantry, Gorgeous Bags, Purses & Accessories, The Cornflower Floral Designs, Ashton Lane Alpacas, Purely Boys, Tyro Laser Cutting & Engraving and Anastasia Crafts and Gifts.

After the initial launch on Saturday, the market will take place every Friday and Saturday, with Mrs Wright and Ms Henry appealing for more arts and craft traders interested in being involved in the market.

Mrs Wright, who runs interior design consultancy Rumah Interiors, said: “The support from the Warminster community has been outstanding. It seems everyone is very keen to see The Old Town Hall back in use.

“The owner of the Old Town Hall Peter Caldwell has been extremely accommodating for our somewhat precise requests. Both Peter and his team have pulled out all the stops. Terry Hillier and his team at RACS Group have supported us from day one with all our advertising and marketing. Their commitment to helping us succeed is beyond any thanks we can give them. It is now up to us to get this Artisan market off to a huge start for our traders and make the Old Town Hall buzz with life again. We look forward to seeing everyone on our open day.”
