Excited pupils at St John’s Primary School in Warminster enjoyed the opening on Monday of a new PlayPod to make their lunchtimes more fun.
The Scrapstore PlayPod contains a collection of clean and safe scrap materials for children to play with and to learn to work together.
Staff at St John’s Primary School and from Princecroft Primary School and Crockerton Primary School have been shown how to monitor play. The other two schools are also due to get PlayPods.
St John’s Primary School’s headteacher Lyn Taylor said: “It allows children to work together and we saw that on Monday.
“They can build wonderful creations and it will hopefully reduce conflict in the playground.”
