Councillors oppose street cafe outside Warminster pub

First published in Warminster

Plans submitted by JD Wetherspoon to include a street cafe at the front of The Bath Arms, Warminster, was unanimously opposed by Town Council’s Planning Advisory Committee on Monday, May 19.

The cafe would be located behind the pelican crossing in Market Place.

The committee expressed concerns that it would block the pavement. The application will still be considered by Wiltshire Council.

Block the pavement you could drive a car along there, get a life town council and let others make something of their's. Witherspoon's is the best thing to happen to Warminster for a long time don't drive them away

I never thought of that. Good idea it would help the car parking issue's as well. As long as it was free parking of course.
