Organisers of Warminster Vintage Bus Running Day have presented more than £500 to Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
The money was raised by the annual event, held in October, with 44 buses recreating the 1950s, 60s and 70s era of bus travel.
There were free rides on 21 routes to towns and villages and the best programme sales since the event started in 1994.
Transport for London Commissioner Sir Peter Hendy brought a vintage Routemaster bus for last Saturday’s cheque hand-over and invited guests on a ride to Heytesbury.
Vintage bus day organising committee president Bob Eade said: “Our donation is being put towards the training of guide dog puppy Eade.
“The donation is the largest in our 20-year history, with the previous highest £425 in 2005.”
