DOG owners in Warminster are being urged to keep their pets under control by Wiltshire Police after several sheep were attacked.
Two sheep were killed and one miscarried in a field near a public footpath in Bishopstrow between February 19 and 22.
In a warning to owners, Inspector Alan Webb said: “Farmers are within their rights to destroy dogs that are found worrying sheep.”
