POLICE are appealing for information after 13 brand new bicycles were stolen from Batchelors Bike Shop in Warminster.

The incident happened overnight between July 29-30, with a number of custom bikes for repair and cycling accessories also being stolen from the store in Market Place.

Detective constable Martin Faulkner said: “The shop till was also stolen during the burglary but officers located this a short distance away.

“It is very likely that the offenders would have used a large vehicle to transport such a large number of bikes away from the shop.

“I would therefore like to hear from anybody who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area overnight on July 29 and 30, and anyone that saw a suspicious vehicle in the vicinity.”

Anyone with information should call DC Faulkner at Trowbridge Police Station on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously if preferred.
