STUDENTS and staff at Kingdown School in Warminster have been celebrating after 99.7% of pupils achieved a pass rate in their A level results for the second year in a row.

A total of 115 students were entered for their A Level examinations, with 41.2% of entries achieving an A*-B while 24.8% of entries gained either an A* or A grade.

Headteacher of Kingdown School, Sara Edwards, said: “The A level class of 2015 have achieved a fantastic set of results which reflect their tremendous hard work, and, the dedication and commitment of our staff.

“These students are an exceptional group of young people who have significantly contributed to the life of our school.

“We are very proud of their achievements and wish them every happiness and success in their future lives.”

Notable results from students at the school on Woodcock Road included two A*s and two As for Millie Andrews and four As for Jennifer Stevens.

Jake Fox achieved three A*s and Luke Bowden got two A*s and one A.

The average point score was 719.0 and the average point score per entry was 222.7.
