A TOTAL of 88 per cent of students at Warminster School achieved five A*-C grades in their GCSE results today, with the pass rate for A*-A increasing to 33 per cent.
Up to 64 per cent also gained five Cs or above including Maths, English, Science and a modern foreign language.
Headmaster Mark Mortimer said: “These are encouraging results by an impressive group of pupils.
“They deserve great praise for their hard work and conscientious, determined approach, which has clearly paid off.
“While I am particularly delighted by the increase in the headline figures and the success in STEM subjects, I am equally pleased by the fact that the majority of pupils fulfilled their potential. The School is proud of all of them.”
Outstanding individual performances included James Caldwell, Christian Folkesson, Tallulah Cope, Claudia Eeles and Aidan King who achieved 28 A*s and 24 As between them.
