A police spokesperson said: “Following the discovery of the body of a young woman in Warminster yesterday we can confirm that formal identification has now been completed.
“We can confirm that the deceased has been formally identified as Jade Patricia Sheppard, aged 20 from Warminster.
“There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death. A file is being prepared on behalf of H M Coroner for Wiltshire.
“Our thoughts are with Jade's family and friends.”
The 20-year-old, of The Heathlands, was last seen at around 7pm on Monday in the area of Manor Gardens but had not contacted her family since.
She was expected at work on Tuesday but did not attend her job as a cleaner which was also out of character.
Her phone was turned on Monday afternoon but when friends tried calling her later that evening it was switched off and went straight to voicemail.
Concerns were then raised that she had not been home to change her clothes or been to work on Tuesday.
