A THREE-car crash blocked the A36 Warminster Road in Limpley Stoke this morning.
Traffic was slow in both directions between the Woods Hill junction and the Brassknocker Hill junction, because of the crash.
Avon and Somerset Police officers and ambulance crews received the call just before 6.30am this morning to reports of the collision.
Paramedics treated two casualties on the scene with one man suffering a head injury and another man complaining of shoulder pain.
They have both been taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath but it is not known how serious their injuries are.
Recovery of the cars involved, including clearing oil from the road, has now taken place and a earlier diversion has been removed.
Traffic was reported to be particularly slow southbound between the North Road junction in Bath and Brown Shutters, Norton St Philip.
#A36 closed S/B btwn #A4 (nr #Bath) + #A366 (#NortonStPhilip) for on-going recovery and clean-up work following an earlier collision.
