LONGLEAT has plenty in store to give its visitors a fright this Halloween with a ghastly gathering of spooks, scarecrows and spectres.
From the animal scarecrow trail and phantom ghost trains to scary guided tours of Longleat House, visitors of all ages are invited to join the festivities, which run from Saturday, October 22 until Sunday, October 30.
There will be the chance to follow a skeletal trail of scattered bones in the Hedge Maze and enjoy close encounters with Dracula in the Bat Cave, which is home to a colony of real-life giant fruit bats.
The ghost train will be collecting passengers for a journey through the wild wood and there is also the all-new animal scarecrow trail.
At Animal Adventure, younger visitors can join the ‘Nasty But Nice’ Halloween story-time shows featuring a selection of Longleat’s hairiest, scariest, smelliest and creepiest creatures.
Longleat will also be staging its fireworks displays between October 27 – 29.
