THE Bishopstrow Hotel & Spa has been awarded Four Silver star status by the AA Travel Inspectors.

The award-winning Warminster hotel was previously classified as a Four Black Star property but has achieved the new and improved merit score due to the service and hospitality.

In addition to this, the hotel’s Mulberry Restaurant has been awarded an additional Rosette, bringing its total up to two, after improvements made by head chef Jon Los.

Jason Thorley, general manager at the hotel, said: “I could not be more delighted.

“I am incredibly grateful to the dedicated team here at the hotel who have worked so hard to achieve this accolade. Moving forward we are looking to increase our merit award to 84 per cent and achieve a Four Red Star status.”

The AA’s star rating is decided by the assessment of overall quality of the property, six critical areas of quality, including hospitality, cleanliness, service, bedrooms, bathrooms and food, as well as services and facilities.
