A MAN who left a High Court bailiff with a cut to his face after pulling a knife on him has had his case adjourned following a car crash.

Gary Burgess, 55, of Hoop-ers Pool, Southwick, was due to be sentenced at Swindon Crown Court on Tuesday, but is in hospital in France after the accident last weekend.

The case has now been adjourned to November 26.
