Community interest company Made in Bradford on Avon was among the organisations given a Coummunity Area Grant at the town’s latest Area Board meeting.
The hub which promotes and sells local products and crafts, received £5,000 towards the cost of expansion into The Vaults in Lamb Yard.
The additional space will be used to showcase community art projects and provide workshops, exhibitions and an educational facility.
Bradford on Avon Cricket Club received £480 towards a Mini Cricket Start Up project, which will provide cricket for players aged four to six years old. They will meet every week from April through to July, to have basic skills training and games.
Staverton Parish Council was allocated £1,500 for a replacement bus shelter in Marsh Road during the area board meeting on Wednesday.
It is needed because the old shelter is in a state of disrepair.
