The Duke at Bratton set the scene for a fun day enjoyed by all to support charities: the Poppy Appeal, Dorothy House, Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Help For Heroes.
Chris and Andy braved the weather in a bath full of slop, visitors were encouraged to add to the contents by purchasing a tin of beans, soup, spaghetti and so on, before pouring it in.
Music was provided by Triggers Broom from south London and Event Catering Wiltshire did a fine job of roasting the hog, locally reared by Padfield Porkies of Bowerhill, and Angel the three-year-old barn owl put in an appearance.
