Staff at Forget Me Not Care in Westbury had a wacky hair day as they donned wigs to raise money for children’s charity CLIC Sargent.
More than £50 was raised for the charity, which cares for children with cancer, as part of their Wig Wednesday event.
The privately-owned care agency, on Bratton Road, was established in 2006 to provide care for people in the area and was taking part in the event for the first time.
Manager Selina Robinson said: “We basically did the event because we just wanted to raise some money for a great cause. It might not be a lot of money that we’ve raised but every little helps for what is an important cause that really helps children with cancer.
“It’s also a bit of fun for the girls. We’ve had some of our clients laughing at them and enjoying the fact they are wearing them but they’ve also donated as well so that’s good.”
