THE founder of Westbury-based care company Butterfly is set to take a leap of faith to raise money for Dorothy House Hospice.

Anne Pelling received a gift of a sky dive from her children Ben and Hannah for her 50th birthday, and has decided to make her leap count by pledging to raise £500 for the local charity.

Mrs Pelling, who lives in Dilton Marsh, said: “It’s true to say I’m terrified about the sky dive but I’m now highly motivated to do it and make a small difference.

“My team in both Westbury and Bath chose Dorothy House as our charity of the year to support.

“We have worked with many clients and their relatives who have benefited from the invaluable services offered and we’re pleased to be able to give something back through our year of fundraising.”

Mrs Pelling’s skydive is the first of several events planned by the Butterfly team of 73, who work from offices in Westbury and Odd Down, Bath.

Butterfly was set up eight years ago in Bath by Mrs Pelling and expanded into Westbury in 2013, and has a reputation for high quality delivery of home care.

Mrs Pelling will be taking the plunge on April 23 at Sarum Airfield in Salisbury. To find out more or make a donation, visit: https://www.justgiving.com/Anne-Pelling?utm_source=email&utm_medium=emails-from-eua&utm_content=shorturl&utm_campaign=eua-email-sponsorshiprequest
