WESTBURY’s cemetery is one step closer to being restored to its former glory after a group of 12 volunteers gave it a clean on Saturday, July 30.
Rupert Lescott appealed for a team to join him in tidying the cemetery, just off Bratton Road, after noticing it needed attention.
Mr Lescott said: “It was a fun afternoon in very hot weather and we managed to make a good start. on tidying the whole cemetery.
“We will need another dedicated team for the second session.”
The second session will take place on August 20 at 1.30pm.
