EMPLOYEES from a packaging company in Westbury are gearing up to take part in a charity football match.

On Sunday, two teams made up of staff from Welton, Bibby and Baron will take to the Leighton Recreation Ground to go head-to-head and raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

One team will dress in kit from the 1970s and the other will don kit from the 1980s, with referee Tyrone Cox refereeing the game dressed as Elvis Presley.

Mr Cox said: “Each year we pick a different charity and this year we decided to choose the British Heart Foundation as they carry out important work.

“Last year’s event was really good fun so we’re hoping to do the same this year. We want to see a good crowd at the ground to help us raise as much money as possible.”

Kick-off is at 2pm at the Leighton Recreation Centre in Wellhead Lane.
