A 22-YEAR-OLD hairdresser from Dilton Marsh completed a skydive in September to raise money for the National Deaf Children’s Society.
Holly Easterling was inspired to take on the jump on September 19 after her eight-year-old deaf sister, Darcie, also from the village, had cochlear implants fitted in August.
In total she has raised over £700 for the charity.
Miss Easterling, who works at Crowning Glory, said: “Something came through in the post about a skydive which gave me the idea.
“I wasn’t nervous at all beforehand, just excited, and it was good fun once I got up there.
“I’m really pleased I managed to do it and raise money for an important charity.”
