FESTIVE fancy dress is encouraged at the Westbury Xmas 3k Fun Run, which takes place at Leighton Recreation Centre on Sunday, December 11.
Organised by Redfish Events, who held the successful Dilton Dash in May, the run is aimed at families and is the perfect way to get in the Christmas spirit.
Tracey Hyde of Redfish Events said: “We want to see as many adults, kids and dogs up at the recreation ground taking part in the race.
“There will be Santa hats for everyone to wear and all finishers will get a medal. The winners of each category will get a trophy too.
“The Dilton Dash was really popular so we’re hoping this one will be the same, albeit a little bit colder.”
Proceeds from the race will be donated to Westbury Lions, who will be attendance alongside Father Christmas.
It is £7.50 for people under the age of 16 to enter, £8.50 for people over and families of four can race for £28.
Registration forms can be filled in at the Leighton Recreation Centre or runners can sign up on the day if there are still spaces.
