THE team at Envi Salon in Bratton have resolved to boost their beauty business in 2017 with ambitious expansion plans.

The salon at Fitzroy Farm has doubled in size after taking on the neighbouring unit and is now offering hairdressing and beauty treatments. It hopes to offer even more pampering services in the future.

Business owner Lynn Murden, 41, of Court Orchard, Bratton, said: "It is a really exciting time for us all.

"I started the business eight years ago when my husband had cancer and I threw everything into it.

"I took a gamble and it paid off. We open our new section on Saturday when Charlotte ??? the beautician starts, and we have space for more people to come and join the team.

"Even though we are in a small village in the middle of nowhere we seem to be doing really well.

"It is amazing how many people come to us."

Lucy Strong, who joined Mrs Murden five years ago, is also excited that the business is expanding.

Miss Strong, 26, of Holmeleaze in Steeple Ashton, said: “Me and my twin sister Claire have been working here for the past five years as hairdressers. Now we have another person joining us as a beautician and we have room for another beautician to join the team.

"We have all been looking to expand the business for a while so it feels great that we can now offer more services to our customers.

“It feels really good to start off the new year with such an exciting change to the business.

"We are hoping to possibly have a chiropodist join the team as there is a specific need for that among older people in the area,” added Miss Strong.
