A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital this morning (Thursday) after being hit by a lorry.
The 48-year-old was hit by the lorry in Quatermaster Road, Westbury, at around 7.30am and was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol for treatment.
It is suspected he has a chest injury, back injury and a fractured leg, but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
