WESTBURY based mobility company, Mobility Works, has donated a top of the range scooter to a lucky competition winner.
Charlie Bridgeman from Corsham who was diagnosed with a chronic lung disease and Parkinson's entered the competition on social media and had his prize delivered to him just days later.
Due to the nature of Mrs Bridgeman's condition, the scooter wasn't suited to his needs, so he donated his prize to a disabled lady after writing a post on social media to see who would benefit from his winnings.
Mr Bridgeman, 68 said: "I was very excited to hear that I had won the scooter, I nearly fell over.
"It felt so great to be able to help out the lady whose needs were more suited to this type of scooter."
Director of Mobility Works, Vicky Rush said: “We think it’s great to run these competitions as it’ something that can really benefit someone and help to improve their life.”
