PUPILS at Westbury Infant School are letting their creativity flow in their current art project which portrays the seasons.

Every year group is getting involved in making art to represent one of the four seasons.

The year one pupils have been working on creating pictures with a stained glass effect to display summer.

They have been using several techniques including watercolour and brusho paints.

Westbury Infant School's Artist in residence, Tracy Rylands said: "With this age group it is about building their confidence and seeing what they are good t and what they enjoy.

"They are all very keen and enthusiastic and this project is something different for the pupils to do.

"Not everyone is strong academically, so it is good that they have this as something to look forward to."

The project will be proudly displayed in the school corridor once finished."
