A MOTHER of two who was diagnosed with bowel cancer last May has written a book from which all proceeds will be donated to Bowel Cancer UK.
Catherine Wiltcher from Dilton Marsh found herself bed bound for five months after going through chemotherapy, and decided to put this time to good use by writing steamy romance novel, Eyes to the Wind.
Mrs Wiltcher said: "Writing definitely helped me through such a tough time, it was pure escapism.
"Although I was bed bound, I wanted to use this time to my advantage.
"I would recommend writing as a great way to escape reality for anyone who may be going through something similar.
"I was able to let all my feelings out in my writing within my characters.
"I decided to give all the proceeds to Bowel Cancer UK as a way of giving back to them after everything they have done for me and my family."
Eyes to the Wind is available to buy on amazon.
