Westbury solicitor Jim Ward continues in a serious but stable condition a week after being shot in his office in Devizes.
Mr Ward was airlifted to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol after being shot in the head at close range shortly before 3pm last Monday.
Wiltshire police are still appealing for information although 62-year-old Rowde man Michael Chudley has been charged with attempted murder.
A mobile police station was set up in the Market Place from Wednesday to Friday last week and is today outside the offices of Morris, Goddard and Ward in St John's Street where the incident took place.
Inspector Ron Peach of Devizes police said: "We are hoping that, one week on, the appearance of the mobile police station at the location will trigger people's memories and they may think of something that could be of use to us."
Chudley, of no fixed address, was remanded in custody by Salisbury magistrates last Wednesday and is due to appear at a preliminary hearing at Winchester Crown Court next Wednesday, July 18.
