Grants available to arts groups in Wiltshire

WILTSHIRE Council has opened its arts projects grants scheme to fund creative projects to benefit the community.

The scheme is open to all voluntary and community organisations.

Arts projects can include visual arts, crafts, media and digital art forms, literature and performing arts.

The deadline for applications is September 30 for projects that will take place between November 2012 and October 2013. The maximum amount to apply for is £4,000.

Recent awards have been made to Two Destination Language to deliver FLINT; a mini festival of various artistic genres in Salisbury and Corsham, and to Bodyjack to deliver Nascent a dance project in west Wiltshire.
