Small decrease in county crime

NewHome Office figures show a small drop in crime in Wiltshire.

Comparing statistics for July 2010 to June 2011 with July 2011 to June 2012, there was a fall of 0.3 per cent in reported crime, from 36,243 to 36,137.

Overall, the statistics place Wiltshire and Swindon eighth lowest nationally for crime.
